My little bit of summer cheer, while I wait for the rest of the garden to get sorted.

Painting Deck Chairs

New paving means...new deck chairs! Or tarted up old ones.

I've got an existing cape cod chair, but its been out in the weather a bit, under the trees, and has got a bit manky. Maybe a wash will sort it out?

Looks better after a good scrub with sugar soap, but needs a coat of paint too.

Ah, that looks much nicer.

Now...a few more chairs too? I know, a kitset one from trademe. Oh...didn't quite want this level of kitset.

With some help from friends with power tools, a bit of sweat, and here is the first off the production line.

Needs paint too.

Now, isn't that a thing of beauty? 

I've got one more old one to scrub and paint, and one new one to assemble and paint. Not quite ready to just sit and admire the sun, on the paving yet.
